Todavía hoy encontramos distintas opiniones en cuanto al fallo de Caspe. Pero lo cierto es que, como no podía ser de otra manera en un territorio con gran tradición pactista, el acuerdo fue respetado. Los territorios de la Corona de Aragón aceptaron a Fernando como nuevo Rey. La palabra venció a la fuerza y, así, el Compromiso de Caspe se convirtió en un símbolo de nuestra Historia. Nuestros antepasados dieron una gran lección de la que todavía hoy podemos aprender.
En 2012 se van a celebrar en Caspe un sinfín de actos conmemorativos presididos por la Casa Real, como un importante Congreso Nacional de Historia, o una gran fiesta medieval (incluso mejor que la que se celebra todos los años) donde el acto central será la representación de la historia del Compromiso. Y después de mucho esperar ¡Por fin podremos visitar el castillo en el que se reunieron los compromisarios! |

Nowadays, we can still find different opinions as for the ruling of Caspe, but the fact is that, as it couldn’t be any other way in a territory with a great tradition of making pacts, the agreement was respected. In 2012, an endless number of commemorative events, chaired by the Spanish Royal House, will take place in Caspe. Such as an important National Congress on history or a great medieval festivity (better than the one celebrated every) in which the performance of the story of the Commitment will be the central act. And after having waited for so long we will finally be able to visit the castle the delegates gathered in. |
